The Vikings have left the ship and autumn are ready to take over the stage. That how it looked when we walked around the lake yesterday. The funny thing is that there has never been Vikings in Jels town. They never found a single sword - A single breastplate, or a rune stone that tells just a little about Viking times in this area. Yet the town is built an image as a Viking town. They have a great Viking space, with an open air stage and a huge amateur theater, which plays a Vikings game every year. ( And they get a lot of credit for this game ) Around the city's Viking figures or references to the Vikings. And as the picture shows, they also have a Viking ship at sea. But now the autumn has taken over, and the Viking has gone. Perhaps they sit in the woods around the lake and getting ready for winter. And polish swords and armor for next year's ferocious battles on the stage.
