I have a colleague who is deeply involved in speedway in Grand Forks. and I am also deeply fascinated by these race cars, so it was quite natural that Friday night was to watch the race at the local track. - This night was very special. Series of Outlaws was on the pitch and was run really fast. There were race people from lot of states around US.
A great mix of Noise - Dust - beer - burger and people who were extremely eager to cheer on their favorite. One of the great experiences of a Dane, is when the race starts. All raise and the national anthem is sung. At the same time the American flag was taken of a ride around the field by the localhome guard. - This shows me that Americans are a proved by bieng an Americans. We in Denmark could learn someting here.
